GENERAL JIMMY STEWART COMPOSITE
SQUADRON
NEW
UNITED STATES AIR FORCE
AUXILIARY
CHARTER #29103
P.O.
The
Operational Safety Plan outlines the minimum applicable standards and
it will
be an integral part of all plans and projects from inception. At all times the first
consideration will be
given to the safety of personnel and equipment, personnel always being
number
one, understanding that the Operational Safety Plan identifies the
minimum
standards to follow and that at times more stringent rules may apply
and must
be considered for implementation.
The
effectiveness of the Operational Safety Plan depends on the active
participation and full cooperation of each member of the squadron.
Safety
is our primary strategic objective and the first consideration in every
project, demanding the active participation and accountability at all
levels of
our organization.
As
the commander I consider our members to be our most valuable asset and,
therefore, safety will receive precedence over all other activities.
All
levels of command are responsible for providing the leadership,
resources and
support necessary to maintain a safe environment.
Plan/project
leaders are also responsible for familiarizing themselves with the
Operational
Safety Plan, and implementing it.
All
squadron personnel are charged with maintaining a vigilant attitude,
always
searching for safety concerns and reporting them up the chain of
command or the
most expedient manner to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution.
